El Seminario Nacional de Sociología y Política es un evento anual organizado por estudiantes del Programa de Posgrado en Sociología de la UFPR y realizado por la Asociación Nacional de Sociología y Política. En 2022 tendrá como tema 'El papel político y social de la esperanza: debates contemporáneos en un Brasil distópico'. La elección refleja la preocupación por el escenario actual y, al mismo tiempo, nos invita a pensar y actuar juntos para que, a partir del pensamiento científico y el intercambio de conocimientos, podamos contribuir a la transformación social.

The National Seminar on Sociology and Politics is an annual
event organized by students of the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFPR and
carried out by the National Association of Sociology and Politics. In 2022 it
will have as its theme 'The political and social role of hope: contemporary
debates in a dystopian Brazil'. The choice reflects the concern for the current
scenario and, at the same time, invites us to think and act together so that,
based on scientific thought and the exchange of knowledge, we can contribute to
social transformation.
